ESRC Centre for Research on Bilingualism in Theory & Practice
This conference will have four main themes:
Keynote Speakers:
The conference is intended to bring together specialists in bilingualism from various areas, including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, computational linguistics, corpus linguistics, bilingual and multilingual education, neuroscience (and others).
Call for Papers:
Submission deadline: 1 October 2011
Requirements and Submission Information:
We invite abstracts for talks or posters in any areas addressing bilingualism. Abstracts should be no more than 300 words. As reviewing will be blind, the paper should not include the authors' names and affiliations. Preferably each abstract should be submitted as a PDF file, though .doc (up to Word 2003, [i.e. NOT .docx]), .odt (OpenOffice), or .txt (Notepad) can also be used, following the instructions in this link. (http://linguistlist.org/confcustom/bilingualism)
If the number and quality of papers stemming from the conference is high enough, we would like to submit a proposal for a published collection of papers. In that event any papers submitted would be subject to a separate review process.
