At Kid's Web, a virtual library for kids houses both traditional and modern classics. Again, though, reading a full book online is tedious and sometimes flat. However, one could imagine some uses, as indicated above.

At B.J. Pinchbeck's Homework Helper, young Mr. Pinchbeck has constructed a list of links to help himself with his homework, such as primary source documents like the Constitution and an atlas. The aides cover all basic school pages. Other students could learn to assemble their own list of references from this example.

StudyWeb contains a library of reference materials in many subjects, including primary sources. Acceptable formats for citing Internet resources in a bibliography are located at PsychWeb.

EdHelper promises 100 webquests and 6200 lesson plans--overwhelming, really. For high school students, in particular, it offers good research resources in every school subject. Many sites are available for elementary- and college-aged students but EdHelper fills a gap for high school students.
