6 - 8 February 2012: Winter School on Multilingualism across the Lifespan

The Winter School on Multilingualism across the Lifespan offers a three-day programme which will include five plenary papers by invited speakers, student presentations and a statistics workshop. The main objective of this event is to foster intensive discussion and exchange between senior researchers and PhD students.

Workshop "Statistical analysis of linguistic data: examples and practice":
Under the guide of R.H. Baayen we will discuss different statistical techniques for analysing linguistic data. Prof. Baayen will provide advice on how to approach doing statistical analyses and illustrate various statistical methods. We will work on selected data sets from participants in the workshop. Participants interested in providing data for analysis and discussion can contact Irmtraud Kaiser.

Plenary talks will be given in English. Papers by PhD students can be in English, German or French.
